George has this link on his site but I thought I might provide it for those of you whom are either not inclined to visit or prohibited to go to his site. The link will take you to a pre-recorded video of a program in the UK called the Naked Science. It is in an open forum discussion format with a panel of relative experts front and center. The panel includes Jennifer Vendemia, http://www.vendemia.net/ , who spoke at the last APA on such technologies and is currently conducting government research on EEG and lie detection. Thanks for the link! It's good to have it here. But is there actually anyone whose prohibited from visiting the anti site? Prohibited from posting I can see, but prohibited from just going to it? Makes no sense. ------------------ It's a thankless job, but somebody's gotta do it. IP: Logged |

What J.B. likely meant is that if you have posted something on George's site which he did not like, he can block your ip address and not allow you access to his bulletin board any more. By providing the direct link, you can see the video bypassing george' site altogether.I do remember at least one person in here saying they were no longer post on George's forum. ------------------ Ralph Hilliard PolygraphPlace Owner & Operator http://www.polygraphplace.com

Yes in part what Ralph said and also some government agencies restrict site access. I know that I had to file for permission to access George's and I believe this site as well, as "sex" is used in the search query and sometimes the discussions messages. Some file for permission and some think it safer to just stick with Ralph's site.Anyway, I found some of PhD Vendemia's comments interesting, to say the least, in regards to the polygraph. J.B.,I gotcha. Yes, some offices may have filtering to block porn, hate groups, etc. Your employer's filtering is pretty strict though if they block a site just for the word "sex". Hell, they'd end up blocking half the internet! ------------------ It's a thankless job, but somebody's gotta do it. IP: Logged | |
